chris.cataldoCustomerHi,
I have the pro version installed of the awesome faq plugin. I have 2 categories and I topic associated with one of the categories. I have a page called F.A.Q. How do I display the categories on this page and then have the topics displayed under that. I didn’t see any shortcodes to put on the page.
Any assistance would be great.
Thanks,
Chris -

Hello Chris,
You’ll see an Editor Button name “FAQ” then Select “Custom FAQ’s”. Select your category/tags etc.
Please check the Image: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/showImage?img_id=3878653Hope it helps you.

Hi Liton,
Unfortunately under the FAQ plugin I do not see editor or customize faq. When I tried to click on the screenshot, all I see is a sample picture. The faq I created doesn’t even appear on my FAQ page … take a peak…go to ckcomputers.org and then click on faq…I have 1 topic in there …what I want it to do is display the categories and then the user will click on the category and then the topic.
Thanks,
Chris -

Let me clear few things.
Do you want to Show Accordions by “Category” names? If so, then it’s not available. Because Category only used for Categorized your FAQ Items. I’ve made a Video for you how you can overcode this. Just Write the Category Name before your FAQ Items.
Please Watch this Video: http://jeweltheme.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/AwesomeScreenshot-2019-02-21T16-26-55-634Z.webmThanks

Hi Liton,
So when a user clicks on the FAQ page, they cant see the categories and the the topics under them? In any case it doesn’t show the topics either when I click on the faq page. Shouldn’t it do that at least?

Hi liton
Well as you can see I have one car back in the configuration but even if you go to the FAQ it doesn’t show any topics at all or any categories. So how do you display the topics if I can display the categories first?
Thanks

Hi Liton,
Can you please try and make my topics display on my FAQ? If I cant get this resolved soon, I will need to request for a refund for this plugin.
Here’s what I want:
When a user clicks on my FAQ page, I would like them to see the faqs that I have created in the plugin. If I cant display them as categories, this can be a mess as if there are 100 faqs people wont know what category itss in.
Thanks,
Chris -

Hello Chris,
I tried to explain how it works. Even created Video for you. Maybe I’m not understanding exactly what do you want.
FAQ’s can be shown by Shortcoded anywhere on your website post/page. Shortcode Button is already on your Editor.
We’ve given option for Category because you can show different types of FAQ’s based on Category like “MAC OS”, “Windows” etc.So, nothing will be messed up.
And, you can easily place Shortcodes via Editor “FAQ” button on any page/post whatever category you want to show to the Visitors.
About Category Title – you can just Text yourself as like we did on our Demo: https://plugins.http://jeweltheme.com/
We wrote Titles like – Nested FAQ Example, Media FAQ Example, Style 1, Style 2 etc.
This is really very easy to use. I am not understanding your problems, I requested to create a Mockup and send it to me for better representation.
Thanks

Hey Liton,
I know you have been trying to help me. You have done a great job. The problem was even that I had a topic, there was no shortcodes or anything to put on my faq page. I have uninstalled the plugin because it just took way to long to get working. I have installed another plugin and it took literally less than 5 minutes to get it to work. If you want take a look at it now. This is what I was trying to do with your plugin.
Once again I do appreciate all of your help. Is there any way I can get a refund for your plugin?
Thanks,
Chris -
