    Hi there,

The events listed on my page are showing on the homescreen (using the elevation Events option) even after the event has past. I would like that section to only display Upcoming Events.

Also, I created two additional event categories…one titled Upcoming Events and one titled Past Events.

I do not want Past Events to disappear so I would like to be able to change the category to Past Events so they can be viewed. And then Upcoming Events for the listing of Events that are coming up.

But, on the events page, the past events and upcoming events…all pages show ALL events. Can this be adjusted so Upcoming Events show on that page and on Elevation Theme EVENTS section) and Past Events show on that page?

Please let me know if you need more clarification. I just don’t want old events to display anywhere but on the Past Events page (event category)

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hello chris2,
Still I’m not clear about this. Better you can create some screenshots, it will be easier to understand.
    Thanks

I don’t want ALL of the events (past and upcoming) to show on the same page. I want the ability to separate them…any new event category I create shows ALL events on that page regardless of what Event Category I choose in the dashboard.

    Hello chris2,
I’ve read your requirements very carefully. The things you want is tough to apply. I don’t understand what should I say you. It’ll take time also to implement those things.
    Thanks

So, you are saying the the EVENTS will just stay on the page forever unless I delete them? So there is no way for me to separate PAST events and UPCOMING events? That is odd.

Maybe I will try creating a PAGE for past events and copy and past the event coding as a page instead of as an event, so I can keep the history of the event listings.

Then, only keep UPCOMING events in the EVENTS section. If that works, it will be more work on my part.

Why does YOUR them allow my to create new event categories if that feature does not do anything? Why create additional event categories when they do not separate the events???

Of I create a new POSTING category, it is applied as a new menu item and I can have several different posting types. I would think the EVENT categories would work the same…

The scenario isn’t like that you’ve described. There are many reasons being categorised the Events. I’m trying to make a solution for you. Please be patience, it will take little time. I’m on it.
    Thanks

    OK, thank you.

Also, the site is not currently loading and I checked with my host company and they said it’s not them or the server. Was wondering if you were working on my site or if you could tell me why it went down?

    Thanks

It stopped loading, the Candor Framework plugin said it needed to be updated then it stopped working. Then I got an error that said the Candor Framework was deactivated and missing something. I reinstalled it and after the second time it started working again. But, I did not do the update this time.

But, every time I update a page in the dashboard I get this message:

Notice: Undefined variable: supercache_home in /home/chrwil165/werockforautism.org/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 1143

Don’t understand why Candor Framework is showing update notice, we didn’t update our Plugin. Please don’t update it. It’s installing another plugin named Ebor Framework.
We’re trying to fix this. Please clear your Cache from Super Cache Plugin. Everything will be fine.
    Thanks
