There is an issue with the portfolio navigation, it’s not moving in the loop it should show up the next and the previous portfolio items but its showing fixed two portfolios as previous and next portfolio on the single portfolio page.
Here is the function being used in the theme file for the navigation;
next_post_link(‘%link’, ‘<i class=”pe-7s-angle-right”></i>’ );
previous_post_link(‘%link’, ‘<i class=”pe-7s-angle-left”></i>’);
http://dynamicmarketingconsultants.com/portfolio/metal-master-shop this is the reference link for single portfolio page.
Can you please let us know the exact issue with the code or how to resolve this, we have the portfolios categorized as well but still didn’t worked.

Don’t understand why it’s not working. On my Local Computer it’s working fine. Anyway, right now I’ve commented the pagination. I will take a look after finishing support queries.

Ok, now there are no arrows to get from one client to the next. The arrows are completely gone. Is this something you are fixing? Once in to view the clients work and text we need to have the arrows to go to the next client.

I’ve disabled the navigation. I’m on it. I will let you know after fixing.

Have you been able to look into this? We are preparing to launch this site this week and need the portfolio issue fixed as soon as possible. Thank you we really appreciate your help!

Go Settings>Permalink. Change Portfolio Permalink to “work”. That’s it.
- March 22, 2017 at 11:06 pm #15708
Tried to change the permalink and nothing changed, is there a way i can edit portfolio page?
- March 22, 2017 at 11:21 pm #15710
I don’t think it’s not the right way to change Portfolio page for this reason. If you want to change layout or other features then you can change it.
For permalink settings, go to Plugins folder “ebor-framework/ebor_cpt.php” on line#186
Change it to like:
'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'work' )
and finally Save Permalink settings.
Hope it will help you.

Ok, looking like one last issue with this, the arrows are backwords and lead through the portfolio in reverse once in the tems. Can this be adjusted to flow in order of portfolio as it is displayed?
- March 24, 2017 at 11:02 pm #15729
Wanted to confirm you received this. The arrows are backwards in the portfolio – when you click on the first client the arrow shows to the left and it should show an arrow to the right to move to the next client. Then the one at the very end shows arrow to the right. Once that is complete then this should be resolved. Thank you again for all your help with this matter.

This is Default WordPress behaviour. I couldn’t handle this like you want.

Is it standard for arrows to point the wrong direction? Your telling me there is no way to get the arrows going in the right direction?
- March 25, 2017 at 12:07 pm #15733
Yes, it’s standard for WordPress core functionality. I cann’t do anything with it.
- March 28, 2017 at 7:38 pm #15779
This is NOT RESOLVED. This is not WordPress Standard for something to navigate backwards. The arrow should be on the right when you go into the first image. Can you please fix this issue so the portfolio navigates in the correct direction?
- March 28, 2017 at 9:18 pm #15780
I’m a Developer and what I know I’ve already told you. If you force me then contact with any Developer who can do it for you.
Also, If you know that this isn’t default behavior then suggest me to do some in CODE !!!
- March 28, 2017 at 9:23 pm #15781
We paid for support and have been very patient about this issue. However for you to tell me it is standard for an arrow to be on the left to go forward i find to be false. Show me any other portfolio that has this set up like this? I am not forcing you to do anything, I just expect it to be done correctly. Can you code the arrow to go on the right side so people can move Forward through the portfolio?
I prefer to work with you, but if you are not willing to fix this issue then we will move on. Thank you Liton! Pleae let me know what you decide and again we appreciate your time spent on this matter.
- March 28, 2017 at 9:41 pm #15782
We respect our Clients and try to give support beyond our level best. Obviously you’ve been patience. Also I’ve done every fixings you’ve requested. So, there’s no reason not to do this fixings !!!
You’re getting me wrong.
I’ve made solution for you. I’ve passed a whole day for your Navigation !!! I didn’t told you that, there’s something not working.
If you can show me any example then hopefully I will understand.
- March 28, 2017 at 10:35 pm #15786
Thank you very much! Attached is screen shot showing that the arrow for the navigation is on the wrong side. 1st client has arrow to the left and last client has arrow to the right. This is not the correct way to navigate, arrow to go to next client should always be on the right. I am hoping this screen shot helps clarify the issue.

Any word on this?
- April 5, 2017 at 10:52 am #16000
Nope, I’ve checked and everything is fine according to WP standards. Tried and still I couldn’t do with this.
- April 8, 2017 at 2:12 am #16053
To WP standards, that makes zero sense. The arrows are not going in the correct direction. Do you agree or disagree with that?
To move forward to a next image or the next file the arrow is ALWAYS to the right. This is just standard navigation so for you to say this is correct, I am not agreeing with you on this. FORWARD= RIGHT ARROW BACKWARD= BACK ARROW!

You can see codes, I’ve done nothing special. Tried a lot to control this but I couldn’t. I think you can hire better Developer than me to fix this.
