Master Block Installation

In this section of the documentation, we will guide you through the installation of the Master Blocks plugin using two methods: via the WordPress Dashboard and via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). These methods provide flexibility for users with different preferences and access levels.

Installation via WordPress Dashboard

Installing Master Blocks via the WordPress Dashboard is the simplest and most common method. Here's how to do:

  1. Log In to Your WordPress Admin Panel: Access your WordPress website's admin panel by navigating to https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin, replacing "yourwebsite.com" with your actual domain.
  2. Navigate to the Plugins Page: In the WordPress dashboard, go to the "Plugins" section on the left-hand sidebar.
  3. Click on "Add New": Click the "Add New" button at the top of the Plugins page.
  4. Search for Master Blocks: In the search bar on the Add Plugins page, type "Master Blocks" and hit "Enter." The Master Blocks plugin should appear in the search results.
  5. Install the Plugin: Click the "Install Now" button next to the Master Blocks plugin. WordPress will download and install the plugin for you.
  6. Activate the Plugin: Once the installation is complete, click the "Activate" button to activate the Master Blocks plugin on your website.
  7. Configuration: After activation, you can configure Master Block's settings and begin using its features.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Master Blocks plugin via the WordPress Dashboard.

Installation via FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

If you prefer to install the Master Blocks plugin manually using FTP, follow these steps:

  1. Download Master Blocks: Visit your Master Blocks Account page or the WordPress plugin repository and download the plugin zip file to your computer.
  2. Extract the Plugin: Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Connect to Your Server: Use an FTP client like FileZilla to connect to your web server. You'll need your FTP credentials, which can usually be obtained from your hosting provider.
  4. Navigate to the WordPress Plugins Folder: Once connected via FTP, navigate to your WordPress installation directory and find the "wp-content" folder. Inside "wp-content," locate the "plugins" folder.
  5. Upload Master Blocks: Upload the entire Master Blocks plugin folder (the one you extracted in step 2) to the "plugins" folder on your server.
  6. Activate the Plugin: After the upload is complete, go to the WordPress Dashboard and navigate to the "Plugins" section. You should see Master Blocks listed among your plugins. Click the "Active" button to activate the plugin.
  7. Configuration: After activation, it will redirect you to Master Blocks settings page and start using its features.

You've now successfully installed the Master Blocks plugin manually via FTP.
